Final planning and structural executive related to the “ Reutilization of the ex local fruit and vegetable market”- Torre del Greco (Naples)

The simple structure is composed by these structural elements:

  •     Frames in c.a.;
  •     Slim floors at a dept + 1.22 m;
  •     Floors set at superior levels;
  •     Floors in lamellate wood (at the depths + 4.7 and + 8.2) for the raising corps in tuff masonry;
  •     Tuff masonries;
  •     Pedestrian small bridges;
  •     Accumulation tank;
  •     Foundations;
  •     Piles’ bulkhead.

 

The works, which have to be realized, fall in a second category seismic zone (S=9), seismic declared with D.M 7th March 1981 (G.U. 20th March 1981 number 79) and confirmed both with the Resolution number 5447, 7th November 2002 of the Regional Council of the Campania Region number 56, 18th November 2002 “ Updating of the seismic classification of the councils of the Campania Region” and with the Ordinance 20th March 2003 number 3274 of the Premiership of the Ministers published in the ordinary supplement G.U. number 105, 8th May 2003.

The structural design of the three-dimensional frame made by beams and columns of the building is represented in Figure 1

The estimate mistake analysed with the methods of the definite elements and is schematized using the elements “beam”, for the beams’ and columns’ estimation. The element “beam” is mono dimensional at two knots and at constant section. It is used to convey axial, cutting and moment forces. The element “beam” transfers rigidness at all the six freedom degrees of the knots, to which it is linked.

 

 

Shape B:
The two central shapes of factory are constituted by a first level predicted with framed structure in c.a., on which pose the two superior levels with the fundamental realized with keeps in tuff masonry and ceilings in various wood structure- concrete which delimitate the commercial places.
These shapes, which are identical for geometrical and functional characteristics, are schematized and represented by a unique estimate design.

The structure is linked to the coping string-course of the side bulkheads: this link is represented with a joint bond. In the design has been inserted in the fields at the end some slab elements, which schematize the slab in c.a, which is linked to the coping string-course of the side bulkheads as well.

The partitions in c.a., predicted in the lift zones, have been schematized with two-dimensional elements, like “shell”
